To apply for one of the Servizio Civile Universale projects promoted by OPES International, you must follow a few simple steps. Applications are submitted exclusively through the official Domanda on Line (DOL) platform of Servizio Civile Universale, dedicated to the selection of volunteer operators.

The first step is to consult the  calls for applications and the project sheets, in order to understand in detail the locations, planned activities, required requirements, and characteristics of each project. In the Bandi section of OPES Italia, you will find summary sheets of all projects — including those abroad — along with other useful materials such as the DOL guide and information about SPID.

The page also reminds applicants that, for the 2026 call, the deadline for submitting applications is 8 April at 14:00.

After identifying the project of interest, the candidate must access the official Domanda on Line platform and complete the application by following the procedure indicated by the Department for Youth Policies and Servizio Civile Universale.

To prepare effectively, it is advisable to:

  • read the project sheet carefully;
  • check any language or specific requirements indicated in the call;
  • consult the guide to the DOL platform;
  • verify in advance all the documentation required to complete the application.
