Programma: Erasmus+ Sport
Period: 2023-2025
Role of OPES: partner
Website: ENGSO Education – CHANGE

The Project

CHANGE – Cooperation for Change Management and Innovation in Sports is a European project dedicated to promoting integrity, values, and good governance in sport.

The project contributes to strengthening the capacity of the organised sports movement to adopt innovative governance approaches, particularly for grassroots sport. The goal is to support sports organisations in building more sustainable and innovative ways to address present and future challenges.

Objectives

The main goal of CHANGE is the development of an educational programme on innovation and change management in the organised sports movement. The programme focuses on resilience and environmental, economic, and social sustainability, working on three main areas: digitalisation, inclusion and engagement, and sustainability.

Activities and Expected Results

The project included the involvement of a group of experts, the development of an online course, scientific papers, a handbook, a research report, a toolkit, educational webinars, podcasts, workshops, and a final conference.

OPES participated as a partner, contributing to the European pathway of research, training, and international cooperation on change in sport, with particular attention to inclusion and digitalisation, already highlighted in OPES materials dedicated to the project.

CHANGE leaves sports organisations with concrete tools to understand their challenges, discuss necessary changes, and transform reflection into practical and sustainable actions.
